Chili and Onion Price Hiking"Last month, red chili price was Rp 80,000 per kilogram and lasted for 10 days. But starting last week, it continue to fall and until today reaches Rp 30 thousand per kilogram," he stated, Wednesday (1/28).
Besides red chili, price of red curly chili also falls from Rp 31,000 to Rp 25,000 per kilogram, big red chili Rp 29,000 to 23,000 per kilogram, and green chili price is still stable at Rp 12,000 per kilogram.
He told that the largest chili local suppliers are Central Java (Rembang, Muntilan, Magelang), East Java (Banyuwangi), West Java (Sukabumi, Garut, and Tasikmalaya). The average supply of chili that goes to Kramatjati Market is approximately 130 tons per day.
